Sopwith PC Game

Sopwith PC Game

The Sopwith PC game was one of the first games that I remember playing on a PC. You are in control of a Sopwith biplane whilst trying to bomb enemies and avoid crashing.

The game was released in 1984 and used CGA graphics with a resolution of 320×200 pixels. Only four colours were available at the time (cyan, magenta, white, and black). The sound was pretty rudimentary too, using the built-in PC speaker.

You can find more details on the Sopwith website.

Although the gameplay was very basic, I had hours of fun with this one!
